"I felt I needed to return to my childhood dream of pursuing art. Although I am self taught, I didn't become a serious painter until 2018. Most of my inspiration comes from being connected by nature through hiking, running, and biking around the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the beautiful scenery in Virginia. My hope is that my works reflects the joy I feel when  I look at the beauty of creation." - Nelfa McReynolds
