Celebrating Creativity: Winners of the Annual National Juried Show

We are thrilled to announce the winners of our Annual National Juried Show, a celebration of artistic talent and creativity from across the country. Congratulations to all the artists who participated and a special applause to those who received awards!

Best in Show: Khoi Le - 'The Blood is on Your Hands' Khoi Le's powerful piece, 'The Blood is on Your Hands,' captivated the judge and earned the Best in Show award. This plaster and silver sculpture invites viewers to reflect on their actions, with dye mimicking blood on the plastered hands. The inclusion of a found mirror above the sculpture creates an introspective experience, urging viewers to consider the consequences of their actions and the responsibility they bear.

Second Place: Jeffery Rine Hart - 'Lost Signals' 'Lost Signals' by Jeffery Rine Hart takes second place, presenting a thought-provoking commentary on our increasingly technology-driven world. The piece mimics the static and distortion of old television screens, symbolizing our disconnection from nature and the outside world. Hart's work challenges us to reconsider our relationship with technology and the impact it has on our lives.

Third Place: Jillian Browning - 'The Root' Jillian Browning's 'The Root' secures third place with its captivating cyanotype. The artwork features a woman bending her head back, showcasing her cascading locs. The blue hues intensify the scene, inviting viewers to ponder the symbolism of letting one's hair down and the concept of surrender. Browning's piece encourages us to explore themes of identity, femininity, and self-expression.

We extend our sincerest congratulations to all the winners and artists who received Juror's Choice Awards. Your creativity and talent continue to inspire us.
